Black Forest Ham-

Burger with chicken and cherry BBQ sauce

(4 burgers)

For the BBQ sauce, dice the onions and sauté with canola oil and sugar in a  caramelize in a pot. Cut 8 slices of Black Forest Ham into strips.

dice the garlic and sauté both briefly. Deglaze with kirsch and red wine vinegar. Add tomatoes, cherries, soy sauce, paprika powder and some cayenne pepper and let it boil down for about 20 minutes. Then puree.

Fry the remaining Black Forest Ham on both sides until crispy. Cut the chicken breasts into strips, season with salt and pepper and fry. Reheat the buns if needed and then top the burgers with meat, ham and sauce, lamb’s lettuce, a few slices of tomato and onion rings – and bite into them with relish!

2 red onions

1-2 cloves of garlic

4 cl kirsch

2 tbsp red wine vinegar

400 g strained tomatoes

300 g cherries

(fresh or from a jar)

3 tbsp soy sauce

1 tsp paprika powder hot

cayenne pepper

2 chicken breasts

salt and pepper

4 rolls

100 g lamb’s lettuce

2 tomatoes
