BBQ sauce

(4 servings)

Place the Worcester sauce in a saucepan with the chopped onions and bring to a light simmer with the brown sugar. Add the remaining ingredients and simmer for 30 minutes, stirring constantly. Add oil if necessary if it thickens too much.

By the way: The sauce keeps tightly closed in the refrigerator for several weeks.

Tastes great with grilled Adler Qualivo bratwurst, Adler fan sausage or crispy

grilled Adler Burehäxle.

¼ cup Worcester sauce

½ cup onions,

finely chopped

¼ cup sugar, brown

1 cup tomato ketchup

1 tsp mustard

2 tsp paprika powder, sweet

2 tsp. chili powder

2 lemons, juice only

1 tsp. salt

possibly smoked salt, to taste


some oil, sunflower oil

3 cloves of garlic
