Black Forest ham muffins

(makes 12)

Preheat oven to 200 °C (fan 180 °C). Line a muffin tin with cases.

Set aside 2 slices of the ham. Cut the remaining slices into thin strips, then dice very finely.

Mix the flour, baking powder and baking soda, then toss the diced ham in the mixture until evenly coated. Combine the oil, sour cream and eggs with a hand mixer, then stir in the coated ham.

Fill the paper cases with the dough, divide the remaining ham slices into 12 pieces and push halfway into the dough. Bake the muffins in the middle of the preheated oven for about 25 minutes. Remove the muffins, allow to cool for a short time and enjoy!
