Adler Rollschinkle

– An Upper Black Forest speciality –

This rolled smoked ham is an exclusive delicacy of the Upper Black Forest. The lean meat is cured, then smoked and slow cooked. It is an especially juicy and aromatic dish. To serve, simply place the pouch containing the Rollschinkle in hot water (80-90 °C) and heat for about 45 minutes.

It tastes just as good cold as hot. Suitable side dishes include vegetables, sauerkraut, potato salad, potato gratin or rustic farmhouse bread. Our tip: Use some of the meat juices to dress the side dishes, and drizzle the rest over the sliced meat. When eating the ham after it has cooled, be sure to sample the jelly as a juicy lean spread.

Adler Rollschinkle is sold in a pouch for cooking.
