You can usually use our website without providing any personal data. If personal data is collected on our website (e.g. name, postal address or email addresses), it takes place on a voluntary basis wherever possible. We do not disclose this data to third parties without your express consent.

We would like to point out that transferring data over the Internet (e.g. when communicating by email) can be vulnerable to security gaps. It is impossible to protect data fully against unauthorised access by third parties.

As part of our duty to publish a legal notice, we hereby expressly prohibit third parties from using the contact data published on this website for sending unsolicited advertisements and information material. Privacy statement concerning the use of Facebook plug-ins (‘Like’ button)

Our website integrates plug-ins from the social network Facebook, a service from Facebook Inc., 1601 Willow Road, Menlo Park, California 94025, USA. You can recognise the Facebook plug-in by the Facebook logo or ‘Like’ button on our pages. You can find an overview of Facebook plug-ins here: http://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/.

When you visit our website, the plug-in establishes a direct connection between your browser and the Facebook server. This informs Facebook that you have visited our website with your IP address. You can link the contents of our website to your Facebook profile by clicking on the Facebook ‘Like’ button while you are logged into your Facebook account. This allows Facebook to associate your visit to our website with your Facebook account. We would like to point out that, as the provider of this website, we have no knowledge or information about how Facebook uses this data. For more information, please see the privacy policy of Facebook at: https://www.facebook.com/policy.php

Log out of your Facebook account first if you want to prevent Facebook associating your visit to our website with your Facebook account.

Privacy statement concerning the use of Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service from Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses what are known as ‘cookies’, which are small text files that are stored on your computer, which facilitate the analysis of how you use our website. The information on how you use this website generated by the cookie is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. If IP anonymisation is enabled on this website, your IP address will be truncated by Google if it is located within the member states of the European Union or other parties to the agreement on the European Economic Area.

Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address transferred to a Google server in the US and truncated there. Google uses this information to evaluate how you use this website on behalf of its operator, in order to compile reports on website activity to provide the website operator with website- and internet-related services. The IP address transferred by your browser as a part of the Google Analytics service is not merged with other data from Google.

You can prevent the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings in your browser. We would like to point out that doing so, however, may limit your ability to use all of the features of this website to the full. By downloading and installing the browser plug-in available from the link below, you can also prevent the data the cookie generates on how you use our website (incl. your IP address) from being transferred to Google and Google processing this data:

Privacy statement concerning the use of AdSense Analytics

This website uses Google AdSense, a service for linking ads from Google Inc. (“Google”). Google AdSense uses what are referred to as ‘cookies’, or small text files which are stored on your computer and allow your use of the website to be analysed. Google AdSense also uses what are referred to as ‘web beacons’ (small invisible graphics). These web beacons can be used to analyse information, such as visitor traffic on this website.

The information generated by the cookies and beacons on how this website is used (including your IP address), and the roll-out of ad formats, is usually transferred to a server from Google in the USA and stored there. Google may share this information with Google affiliates. However, Google does not merge your IP address with other data Google has stored.

You can prevent the installation of cookies by adjusting the appropriate settings in your browser. We would like to point out that doing so, however, may limit your ability to use all the features of this website to the full. By using this website, you consent to Google processing the data collected about you in the manner described above and for the purposes mentioned above.

Data Security

We use the popular SSL (Secure Socket Layer) method during visits to our website, in conjunction with the highest level of encryption that your browser supports. Usually, this involves 256-bit encryption. If your browser does not support 256-bit encryption, we use 128-bit v3 technology instead. You can see whether an individual page on our website is encrypted by the presence of the key or padlock icon.

Privacy policy concerning the use of Google +1

Compiling and sharing information:

The Google +1 button allows you to publish information worldwide. It also allows you and other users to receive personalised content from Google and our partners. Google stores both the information you provide to +1 for content purposes, as well as information on the page you viewed when you clicked on +1. Your +1 can be displayed along with your name and profile photo as suggestions in Google services, such as in search results or in your Google profile, or elsewhere on websites and ads on the Internet.

To improve Google services to you and others, Google records information about your +1 activities. In order to be able to use the Google +1 button, you need a globally visible, public Google profile, which has to contain your chosen profile name at least. This name is used for all Google services. In some cases, this name can also replace another name you have used when sharing content through your Google account. The identity of your Google profile can be shown to other users who know your email address or are in possession of other identifying information about you.

How the information collected is used:

In addition to the aforementioned uses, the information you provide is used in accordance with the Google privacy policies in force. Google may release aggregated statistics concerning users’ +1 activities, or transmit them to other users and partners, such as publishers, advertisers or linked sites.

As the provider of this website, we would like to point out that we have no knowledge or information about how Twitter uses this data. For more information, please view the Twitter Privacy Policy at: http://twitter.com/privacy.
